1. 2 Locking Padded Frame Hooks - Secure Bike Frame Retention
The locking frame hooks make securing and removing bikes quick and easy. This turn-knob adjusted design allows the carrier to effectively accommodate a wide variety of bicycle styles. Trust your bikes are secure during your travel with two keyed locks included on the K1 frame hooks. Spare key included.
2. Adjustable Universal Tire Holders and Wheel Straps
Heavy duty universal wheel trays fit both narrow road tires and fat tires up to 5 inches. 4 included tire straps secure the all bicycle wheels in place. This bike rack accommodates an axle to axle wheelbase up to 54", making it an ideal carrier for most standard bikes, e-bikes, mountain bikes, and more.
3. Safety Features Including Rear Safety Reflector
You wouldn't hit the trail without your helmet, so look for the same level of protection in your bike rack. With included Safety Strap, it is simple to secure your bikes to the KAC Overdrive Sports K1 1.25” Hitch Mounted Bike Rack. One strap secures two bikes. Keep your bikes sturdy and safe on the road with a patented Anti-Wobble System that eliminates slack between the receiver and the rack. A Rear Reflector adds enhanced visibility at night.
4. Smart Tilt Lever
Our innovative Quick Release Smart Tilt Lever allows the entire rack to be dropped away from the vehicle for rear cargo access, even while bikes are loaded. When bikes are unloaded, the center post collapses down for quick and easy access to the vehicle back hatch. The entire bike rack can be folded up flat behind the vehicle to save space when not in use. This compact folding design is convenient for garage parking and for avoiding the added effort to remove the rack between use.
*Because this bike rack is made from heavy duty steel and can support up to 120 lbs. when fully loaded with 2 bikes, it is not recommended to tilt the loaded rack alone or to let the rack fall freely into the tilt position. To protect the rack and to help prevent personal injury, always use caution and some help when tilting with bikes loaded.
5. Locking Hitch Pin with Patented Anti-Wobble
Insert the included locking hitch pin from the right side to engage the patented anti-wobble system. Rest assured the bike rack is safe and secure with a wobble-free, locked down design. Spare key included.
6. Easy 1-Bike Conversion
The KAC K1 Hitch Rack easily converts from a 2 bike carrier to a 1 bike carrier by removing the outer wheel holders and frame hook.
